Whitehorse, Yukon

Whitehorse is the capital city of the Yukon Territory with a population of just over 20000. The city can be reached by air from Vancouver, Edmonton or Calgary either by Air North or Air Canada. Drive time from Edmonton is approximately 24 hours, while Vancouver is closer to 30.

A city of character, colour and contrasts, Whitehorse rightly claims to have it all – a latte to start your day, wildlife viewing minutes from downtown, an afternoon rafting, a chance to fish for legendary salmon, or an evening on the town. Yukon's capital boasts all the services and amenities of a major city, yet maintains an

endearing small-town personality. This is the perfect jumping off point for an exploration of the Yukon
